Trinity Community Garden

Share-Cropping is a community garden ministry of Trinity United Methodist Church in Lenoir City. In 2012 the Trinity Community Garden Association was established to provide small garden plots for members and neighbors using existing greenspace, to provide an opportunity to develop positive connections with our neighbors and to provide local, low-cost food for our community.

  1. Trinity Community Garden will kick-off on June 16 at 8 am in the Trinity parking lot. Come prepared to work. We have a commitment from the United Methodist Women of Trinity for $100 to purchase supplies to construct the initial garden beds. Applications for a plot can be found on our the "Community Connections" page of our website: http://www.trinityumc-lenoircity.org/Community_Connections.html

The spiritual dimension of gardening is described eloquently in the essay "Gardening with Creation" on the Alive Now website: http://alivenow.upperroom.org/2012/02/13/gardening-with-creation/
